ReplyTube AI ("we", "our", "us") provides an AI-powered service that helps YouTube creators generate replies to comments. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information We Collect
- Account & Authentication: If you sign up, we store your email via Firebase.
- YouTube Data: Video IDs, Channel ID, public comments and metadata used to generate replies to your channel videos (we do not access private videos or private messages).
- Generated Replies: AI-generated reply text is returned to you and may be stored, in your own, if you choose to save/export to Google Sheets.
How We Use Your Data
- To generate replies using AI based on public comment content and video details.
- To save replies to your provided Google Sheets or to prepare downloadable Excel files.
- To manage accounts, enforce rate limits, billing and subscription plans.
- To comply with legal obligations and improve the service.
Google Sheets & Exports
If you opt to save replies to Google Sheets, you must provide the Sheet URL and ensure our service account has edit access. We only append the data you request and do not modify other sheet content. For Excel downloads, generated replies are packaged into a file for you to download.
Authentication & Security
We use secure authentication providers (Firebase) for sign-in. Backend token verification is used to prevent spoofing. Sensitive tokens are stored/validated on the server.
Session Storage
We use sessions for session handling for simple UI state (e.g., plan selection). You can clear sessions from your browser at any time to sign out.
Third-Party Services
We use third-party services (Firebase, Google Sheets API, hosting providers) to operate the service. These services have their own privacy policies; we encourage you to review them.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. We will post a prominent notice on the site and update the effective date above.
